Rejuran Healer has been made popular in the recent years by South Korea and China, also known as 婴儿针(baby skin injection) in Mandarin. Rejuran Healer delivers highly bio-compatible Polynucleotides (PN) directly into the skin, restoring our skin to a baby-soft state.
Rejuran is now widely available in Singapore and South East Asia, becoming one of the most highly sought after skin rejuvenation treatment. However, I realized some patients still lack a thorough understanding of this treatment. One of the most common question that I get asked during consultation:
” What is the difference between Rejuran Healer and Skin Booster?”
Hence, I have decided to write this guide to help patient understand this treatment better, and ultimately make better decisions.
So What is Rejuran? What are Polynucleotides (PN)?
Polynucleotides (PN) is a core component of Rejuran Healer. Polynucleotides (PN) is extracted from salmon DNA, which was found to have similar base structure as that of human skin.
Polynucleotides (PN) stimulates skin ability to regenerate, and improves skin elasticity and thickness by recovering the biological condition of both the superficial and deeper skin layer.
Rejuran Healer are shown to have the following benefits:
- Skin revival – improving scars, pores, redness etc. Think of it as accelerating skin’s own ability to recover to its best condition.
- Improvement skin tone and texture – improving overall skin luminosity and complexion (hence the name baby skin injection).
- Improvement of fine wrinkles – promotes collagen production and improves skin elasticity, thereby reducing fine wrinkles.

Comparing Rejuran Healer with SkinBoosters
How is the treatment done?
Rejuran is delivered using very fine needles in the dermal layer of the skin. Micro-injections are placed to the entire face. Topical anaesthetic agent will be applied prior to the procedure to minimize pain/discomfort. Most patients breeze through the procedure with ease.
Are they any side effects?
You may see visible bumps on the skin after the treatment, which will typically subside within 24 hours. Some people experience mild swelling and/or brusing, which is both temporary in nature.
To Sum It Up
Rejuran is certainly a great non-invasive option for skin rejuvenation, which confers multiple effects that helps restore a youthful look. Hope you find this a useful read.
